On July 22nd ACE launched its first online auction to raise dollars for ACE's housing programs. The auction will run through August 15th. This is an easy way to support ACE while also getting some good deals on local goods and services.

What can you "win"? Bid on landscape design services, gift certificates to local restaurants, a round of golf, art classes, personal tour of the historic reserve, handmade gifts, artwork, auto services, and many more items.

Join ACE at the Re-Opening and Re-Naming Celebration in Washougal

On June 30th at 3:00 p.m. join us in celebrating the completion of ACE's newly renovated community in Washougal. The apartments formerly known as Bethea Park located 4300 Addy Street have undergone a facelift both inside and out. Over the last six months, ACE and its development team have undertaken a complete renovation that has included an eye to increasing the livability for our residents, increasing the operating efficiencies for ACE, and long-term durability and sustainability that will benefit the communty as a whole.

Come see our new community room, playground and community gardens for residents. Hear about all the new appliances that have been installed to conserve energy and water usage. See some of our innovative and detailed buidling techniques to ensure there is no water intrusion that might erode the building over time.

Meet our development team comprised of ACE, Carleton Hart Architecture, TEAM Construction and the Housing Development Center. Meet our funding partners including the State Department of Commerce, Clark County Community Services, Clark County Housing Preservation Program, Clark Public Utilities, Washington Community Reinvestment Association, and Enterprise Community Partners.

Vancouver Housing Authority hosts Housing Matters, a monthly television program about the issues of affordable housing in Southwest Washington. In each edition you will learn about a different VHA program, as well as learn about one of their community partners involved in providing solutions to affordable housing issues. How does your donation help? Your gift to ACE supports individuals and families who are seeking safe and affordable housing. With donor support, ACE has provided a hand up to hundreds of people in need.

$25 – Supports the cost of a child to participate in ACE’s cooking club for three months

$50 – Helps ACE offer an adult a free six week computer course to help them build skills

$100 – Allows ACE to provide school supplies for 10 children

$1,000 – Supports the cost of ACE’s Youth Gardening Club for an entire year

$2,500 – Builds one affordable apartment that may serve up to 10 families over 40 years
